What a perfect haiku for contemplating today.
Thanks, Susan.
Ah …. this is where my response SHOULD have appeared … not down below. Thank you so much for reading and commenting, MaryJo!
Very nice, Susan.
Thank you, David!
Beautifully done, Susan. Love how you intertwine nature with human nature.

Fun feeling of two people out a little too late, or too early if it's 3am or later after a club. I guess the two parties might be wonderfully friendly and sentimental, rather than argumentative. Gosh, have I heard so many late night/early morning arguments outside various places I've lived! :-)

Somehow I managed to lose my response to you, MaryJo. Thank you so much for reading and commenting!
I like your fragment 'lopsided moon'. Don't think I've seen that used before. Works so well with your phrase. Very nice!
Thanks for popping by, Dan. I'm glad you find 'lopsided moon' effective.
Absolutely lovely, Susan.
Love the way you've taken the ku forward from L 1!
Many thanks, Kala. I appreciate your taking the time to comment.

Susan, great poem! I love how fresh "lopsided moon" is for the fragment. Arguments can be such a delicate balancing act, and you've captured that quite well here.
Thanks so much, Cyndi. It's so difficult to remain objective!
Enjoyed your poem!
