    Nice one, Nicholas! I like the doublings of imagination in the last two lines, and the contrast of this complexity with the simplicity of the first line. Really evokes the enigma of time passing. As Heraclitus might say, no one steps in the same treehouse twice…

    Thank you for the kind words. This haiku is close to my heart because I built a treehouse with my father in my childhood. Revisiting the spot of that treehouse was definitely emotional.
