  1. I agree, Nancy.
    Have we not all seen this with a lone poppy or two in a field of wheat, and felt for their struggle just to be themselves?
    I wonder if flora, or even fauna, feel that same need to 'prove' their right to existence in the same way as we humans appear to need to do.
