  1. First encounter of a dinosaur in a haiku–they're too big. Love the heavy "d" steps, the ellipsis allowing the tracks time to surface, the unrolling of ominous "r" sounds reminding how the ancient past is present.

  2. How strange it is to imagine that in this time of climate change fear, we 'see' where others have trod before, just as Gaby states 'reminding how the ancient past is present'. There's a lot of important 'depth' to Sam's poem.
