Nice pun involved here, Mark. Well done!
To me, it’s a haiku. In the Northern hemisphere Halloween is celebrated on October 31st: autumn.
I’m writing now from Nov. 2nd, AEST. Springtime! Yet Halloween has sailed over to Australia in recent years. The kids now just have to have it.
I now have a cute stuffed toy dog with red horns, that flaps its ears & dances, that frightens the cat.
A fun senryu– Thanks for the chuckle!

Ah, so apt, so many skeletons at this funny peculiar time of year and moreso this year.
