    Man, that’s good. We lost our 15-year old dog earlier this year, so it definitely hits home. Good to be reminded that it’s a cycle. We all are part of it.

    This makes me think so much of my dog Astrid, who passed suddenly in January. We buried her out at our family cabin in the dead of winter. But the cabin is also a host of beautiful wildflowers. . .
