Thank you Alan, I always look for your comments on my works, they just add a sense of such subtle warmth to what I have tried to capture, I agree blue throats are incredible birds.
This poem brings some nice images in my mind… – for summer we have planed a trip to france with the family and I look forward to test the chardonnay there and smell the scent of summer…

Really nice haiku. I looked up the bird, once classified as a thrush, it's actually an Old World flycatcher. Incredible looking bird!
