Welcome Vera, and congratulations for your first publication on Tinywords.
Very evocative verse. And I really enjoy when poets play so thoughtfully with the traditional form. Instead of 5-7-5 your haiku is 2-7-5. Perhaps this is a deliberate abbreviation of the first line, to manifest precisely the sense of "missing" which the lonely walk across the river seems to suggest.
I look forward to hopefully reading more of your work in the future.
The moon is full.
There is a path across the river.
Why is it that 'only one may walk?'
Or does the reflection of moonlight create 'a path across the river?'
A most mysterious haiku.
