bright lanterns
in black branches:
winter apples
Author: Erin Noteboom
I've just published my first book, Ghost Maps: Poems for Carl Hruska, which won the CBC Canadian Literary Award and is currently short-listed for the League of Canadian Poets award for best book of poetry by a woman. I live, as you might guess, in Canada -- in Kitchener, Ontario. Haiku are an old passion for me.
I keep a daily weblog at www.vividpieces.net, and can be reached by e-mail at erin (at) vividpieces.net
new moon …
an empty hollow
on your side of the bed
wind and winter rain
the bus shelter
chatters
one barb of the wire
tiny web
catching dew
