Irena Szewczyk lives in Warsaw. She writes her blog Iris Haiku in English, French, Hungarian and Polish. Her haiku and haiga were published in numerous international magazines and reviews. She won Honourable Mentions in the 13th & 14th HIA Haiku Contests, the 17th Mainichi Haiku Contest and earned the title of the WHA Master Haiga Artist.
