Matthew M. Cariello was born and raised in New Jersey. He currently lives in Columbus, Ohio, where he works in the English Department at the Ohio State University. His poems and haiku have been published in or are forthcoming in Poet Lore, Artful Dodge, The Journal of New Jersey Poets, The Evening Street Review, Frogpond, Heron?s Nest, Daily Haiku, and Modern Haiku.
