About Taofeek Ayeyemi
Taofeek Ayeyemi fondly called Aswagaawy is a Nigerian lawyer, poet and essayist. His haiku have appeared in Acorn, Hedgerow, The Mamba, the QuillS, Fireflies' Light, Akitsu Quarterly, contemporary haibun online, Modern Haiku, Human/Kind Journal, Frogpond, Failed Haiku, Cattails, Eucalypt and elsewhere. He won Honorable Mention Prizes in the 2020 Akita International Haiku Contest, 2020 Fujisan Taisho Tanka Contest, 2020 The Haiku Moment Award, The Mainichi Best of 2020, among others.
