Tia Haynes resides in Lakewood, Ohio, where she is raising her two daughters with creativity and lots of coffee. She was featured in New Resonance 11: Emerging Voices in English-Language Haiku and in 2018 was awarded first place in the Robert Spiess Memorial Haiku Contest. When not writing poetry she enjoys vegan cuisine and theater of all kinds.
