Thanks everyone for reading your daily dose of tinywords. Barbara Kaufman’s haiga “Wildflower Walk” closes out issue 15.2. That means we can turn our attention to a NEW issue. And there are new—and helpful—changes in the submission process for tinywords.
Going forward tinywords will maintain its two-issue-per-year schedule, published in serial form, one poem per day, but with two easy to remember submission periods, as follows:
tinywords Issue 16.1, to be published starting mid-March 2016, will have a submission window open the entire month of February.
tinywords Issue 16.2, to be published starting mid-September 2016, will have a submission window open the entire month of August.
So from here on we will be accepting submissions twice a year, for the entire month of February and the entire month of August.
That means for our next issue you’ve got from February 1st thru February 29th, 2016 to send us your best and brightest. Your tiny standout poems that stand up and have something to say.
All we ask is that the poems you send change us forever, even in the smallest of ways. A task each poet faces no matter the form. Here at tinywords we thrive on the short form. So check out our guidelines and use our Submit page (available until February 29 at 6 p.m. Pacific time) to share your work. We look forward to reading it.
