Archimedes was said to have discovered the principle of the lever, and to have commented, "Give me a lever long enough, and a fulcrum (or wedge) on which to place it, and I shall move the world"
Your "wedge of geese" doing just that! Prying open the sky, turning the world itself to start a new season.
