Yes I would need an Olympic-sized pool! This is an excellent and very new (to me) haiku. Not only did I appreciate your finding haiku in new places but bringing in Mom's guilt as water was spot on for me. Thanks!
Wow, Christina, such a poignant verse! In so few syllables you strike to the heart of parenthood. It all comes back – all our inadequacies and insecurities – and you prompt us to recall the tears of our own little ones, and the hidden tears of guilt we may have shed in secret.
