I have just Googled a windflower and see exactly what you mean, Norah – a golden ball of stamen (?) on pearly white petals. Very well observed.

A lovely image and very apt.
Thank you Marie. Glad you enjoyed it.
Beautiful.
Thank you Alan :-)
Purposely did not look up windflower so I can imagine what it is. In fact, I misread it once as "wildflower."
I imagine it to be kind of like a dandelion gone to seed before the wind takes it away.
Lovely image, Peter. Thanks for posting your response.
Lovely images of nature. A captivating haiku that I enjoyed reading!
Thank you Lamart Cooper.
A brilliant image. Readers would ponder to imagine and dream time and again.
Thank you Pravat Kumar Padhy
What a wonderful description, and gateway to imagining.
