    Strangely, I have never been able to keep a writers' dream diary yet so many poets have them form the basis of their poems. They are such a rich resource.

    I normally prefer nightmares to dreams, but again they hardly make it to paper except for this one:

    counting down
    to those waking dreams
    my skill at handguns
