once more round /
the fish tank it goes /
my wish to write a poem

After Alan Summer's Paddington Bear poem this immediately made me think of the adventures of Mr Benn, a children's story book character created by Robert McKee. it was made into a TV series and In each episode the character visits a magical costume store where, "as if by magic, the shopkeeper appears" and Mr Benn goes off on an adventure related to the costume he has selected. Thank you for the memory! :)
Love this poem.
Loved those moments. You capture it so well.
Great poem,
Physical structure enhances the concept :)

And it continues to be the same for me in adult life as well. A wonderful poem!
