Welcome to tinywords 18.1

Welcome back to another issue of tinywords.

In keeping with our spring floral visual theme begun with our bluebonnet photo prompt, our backdrop for tinywords 18.1 is a field scattered with blooming peach trees bathed in spring fog.

Congratulations to our writing prompt winners Helen Buckingham and Sam Bateman, whose poems appear below. Once again a final choice was difficult due to the abundance of good responses. Please be sure to scroll through and enjoy all the poems offered in response to our prompt.

Thanks again to our Assistant Editors, Polona Oblak and Ruth Holzer. And to Dylan Tweney, founding editor and Technical Director who keeps tinywords humming along season to season.

Spring is starting to show its colors here in the northern hemisphere. No better time to show the wide array of poets who have generously sent in their work for tinywords 18.1. Thanks for writing. Thanks for reading.

With gratitude and in the haiku spirit of inclusion, so we begin.
