Nadejda Kostadinova is from Sofia, Bulgaria. She writes haiku since the autumn of 2017. She has received several prizes and nominations in international competitions among which are: 1st prize in the 11th PIHC 2021 contest of the Polish Haiku Association (Dec 2021), 2nd prize in the Winter Competition of the Bulgarian Haiku Union (Feb 2023), 3rd prize in Maya Lyubenova International Haiku Contest (March 2020), two haiku among the 10 winners nominations in the 5h Basho-an International Haiku Contest (Feb 2023) a haiku in the outstanding haiku collection in Soka Matsubara International Haiku Competition (Feb 2022), honorable mention in the 11th Setouchi Matsuyama International Photo Haiku Contest(March 2022), nominee in the 14th Yamadera Basho Memorial Museum Haiku Contest (Oct 2022), nomination in the Haiku Contest of the Haiku Society of Constanta dedicated to 10th anniversary of Fukushima disaster (Aug 2021), Sakura award in the Vancouver Haiku Invitational (Oct 2022).
