    I agree, Gaby. There are several interpretations here.
    Mine may take Jim's poem out of context as it seemed to me that the pandemic over the last couple of years has, through isolation and unfamiliar polarization, either cemented or broken relationships. For some, I hope they have experienced this togetherness:

    matrimony
    the easy silence
    between us
