bravo yet again Polona!
I have nothing to add to the succinct and astute comments from Alan and Alison but my congratulations on another superb and moving haiku.
The precise description of the tuft of fur as rabbit transforms this poem for me. The fierce cruelty of nature is not some abstraction but right in your face and something able to be held in your hands. Chilling images indeed.

Good tight haiku using concrete images, in a way to allow us to open up to the world we perceive at large.

Stark and poignant image in which winter's harshness is shown in the intersection between human and natural worlds. So vivid!
