evening news
two crows on the rim
of a satellite dish
the lies i believe in forsythia buds
hunger moon
a tuft of rabbit fur
on a wire fence
snowflakes all the places she was childless
butterfly
under her skin
the ink takes shape
saying what i mean
the windsock
changes angle
distant thunder
ants inside
a broken egg shell
leaves changing a language i can’t fully grasp
pink moon
i am asked again
why i’m not a mother
flurries of willow fluff
seven ducklings scatter
among the reeds
garden wall
behind the snail
its long noon shadow
