It’s been awhile, but tinywords will begin publishing a new issue before long.
Like previous issues, we’ll publish one poem per day, starting in September and running for several months.
I’m very pleased to say that Kathe L. Palka and Peter Newton have volunteered to take on the job of editing. I’ll continue hosting tinywords and providing technical support, as well as helping read submissions, but my role will be smaller than it has been. After more than 10 years, it’s time for me to leave tinywords in the hands of editors who have more time to dedicate to it. Kathe and Peter have been helping me for over a year, and Kathe was the lead editor for issue 11.3, so I am confident I’m leaving the site in the care of two capable and careful editors who share my aesthetic and my vision for the site.
We’ll be accepting submissions through August 31, 2012. To submit work for this issue, please use our submissions form.
The next issue is an open issue. Please send your best, preferably unpublished work.
We are looking forward to seeing your poems!
Congratulations on the reopening!
The link to the submission page gives only a 404 page.
It should be working now, Berit.
What is the theme for this issue?
There's no theme for this issue, Genie. We're simply looking for excellent haiku and micropoetry.
glad you're coming back!
Amazing how many years you have persevered with this. Take as many breaks as you like — for any reason. Always we will welcome you back with open arms. Thank you, Mr. Tweney!
Thanks so much, Chris. I think Kathe and Peter will be able to keep it going with fewer breaks than I've needed!
This should be good. Peter has a wonderful ear and is a great poet…. Looking forward to the coming issue.
So glad to have back.
Wow…you are back…thank you…looking forward to your poetry…

Wishing you, Kathe and Peter all the very best all the way…

Dear Dylan, Wonderful to see the tinywords email. I look forward to your new chapter. I still remember how much it meant to me to receive the emails and write comments during the early days, when I was caring for my mother. And I still remember the kind words from you and many others. They encourage me to this day. Thank you, Ellen
Ellen, stories like that remind me why I — we — do this. You've been with tinywords for a long, long time. Thank you for your kind words!
Delighted to receive your e-mail. Indeed tiny words architect mega verses!
Best wishes for the reopening venture.
Pravat
Thanks for the email. Thanks also for founding and operating Tiny Words and for securing its future.
It’s back! Hooray for Tinywords!

Yay! So happy to read that tinywords will be appearing in my email again! :-)
Thanks to all for the tiny, but mighty, words!
Loved hearing this news of continuation. Go get 'em, Dylan. Do what you need to do and return refreshed.
The submissions form is not working *again).
