against the blue the blue fly flies against the pane
—Jim Kacian
Issue 14.1 | 16 June 2014
Thank you for this wonderful wordplay. I see it, hear the incessant buzzing!
This is stunning Jim! and it is perfect with the photo. Bravo!
Beautiful display of words.
Want to add, – I love this poem’s simple elegant “against the blue, against ‘the pane'” and more I wish I could express, beautifully and brilliantly told.
I like therepetitio of blue and the noun-verb shift from fly to flies. a lovely blend of color image and flight.
Great sound and colour in this.I could also see the fly repeatedly hitting the pane.
