I am in my office grading research papers and I needed to see something deep and meaningful and beautiful and surprising, so I came to tinywords and saw your haiku, and now I have the strength to go on…
Perhaps because I've been experimenting with four line haiku recently, I kind of want 'sounds close' to drop to a fourth line. That way you have that wonderful line 'the owl still'. Just a thought.
