winter’s end an old man’s cough in the crow’s caw
—Susan Constable
Issue 18.2 | 15 January 2019
wonderful poem. an original in a much overdone area. wow.
Susan, a terrific winter ku. I like the "c's" in "cough in the crow's caw". It heightens the sense of coughing…something I've been dealing with this past month!
Read this odd ‘one-liner’ a few years ago:
caw caw caw crow
Thanks, Mike!
Brilliant use of sound, Susan!
