Love it, Jacquie! It captures an essential quality of dog.

The wordplay matches the playfulness of the dog. What a clever, vivid, fun haiku!

This feels very immediate, and embraces both the humor of the moment, and how a dog senses far more than we do. Smells and scents are like synesthesia if humans could see what dogs could smell! :-)

    Brilliant haiku!!!!!!!!!

I'm more of a dog person but have written more cat haiku, but trying to catch up myself!

Ah yes, the unpredictability of a dog. This ku amuses and points a finger at the same time.

Brilliant image – visual, visceral, synesthetic.
It is a sublime haiku. Let's see more!

Very visual, Jackie and so like a dog. It makes me laugh and also reminds me of how much more there is to the world than what we, as humans, scent and smell.
    great haiku.
