Amish country the precision of a cracked whip

Issue 20.1 | 1 July 2020
I can hear the whip Bryon. Great visual.
Living in Amish Country, I believe this haiku really speaks the truth. So well-crafted and I can hear and feel it!
passing cloud between the doe’s ears twitching gnat
Bryan, being a neighbor of yours (about 45 miles south) and residing on a small farm in the middle of Mennonite country the crack of that whip hits close to home. Thanks for the fine haiku which encouraged me to order your new collection.
Excellent poem, Bryan.
