disappearing
into a boy’s warm breath
frost flowers
sunset bells slipping light into the sea
nestled into oak the urge of white trilliums
sheltering
the white flutter
of prayer flags
falling light
rinses over his face…
father at the sink
dusk crawls across the field crickets
within rain…
just the fluted song
of a wood thrush
family reunion
forgotten
in a locket
