ripples upon ripples
water striders
in the rain

saying yes to no
rainy day plans
popping up
behind the book
cat ears
birdcage
we all have a name
for home
lockdown blues
a hit of whip cream
straight from the can
new sheets
on a new bed
a new loneliness
not yet ready
to head back inside
coyote mind
deep summer moon
so smooth
this skipping stone
agreeing to therapy
dishes dry
on the rack
twilight
losing sight
of the whiffle ball
evening clouds
in no hurry
this baseball game
weekday morning
pulling my mood
off a hanger
unfolding a map
the ocean
between us
getting bigger
the hole
in my story
midday sun
the fence’s shadow
switching yards
twilight
losing count
of blackberries
reunion dinner
saying hello
to old habits
